19 June 2012
The Semester of Spring 2012 was almost completely inactive.
Due to a lack of interest in this club, it can no longer exist as
it has in the past. The Club will either close down or adapt to something new.
That is where I need your help. In the Fall 2012 semester this club needs to be something new
with new leadership, a new focus, new goals and new passion.
I Need Men and Women who want to advocate for the secular community.
I Need Men and Women who want to set the example of a non-religious person to the campus community.
I Need Men and Women, who will participate fully only because this is a something they care about.
I Need Men and Women who enjoy talking about and debating religious ideas.
Do you want this club to build a large member base?
Do you want to participate in Campus Community events as a club?
Do you want the club to be about finding friends of of like minds?
Do you want the Club to be about the study and intellectual debate of Religious ideals?
or add your own....
Form and plan Religious debate
Bring secular lecturers to campus
Advocate to administration against Religious Discrimination
Raise awareness in the Campus community
or add your own.....
The fact is: no one will take your ideas seriously if you're not passionate about them.
In order to be respected as a community of Non-Religious people, we have to be willing
to put in some time and effort to better our community.
The Re-Emergence of this Club can not happen without motivated and passion members.
without them, the Secular Community goes unrepresented.
If you are that passionate person, I have all the knowledge and tools to set you up for success.
Now is your chance to Stand up and be a leader, or join the ranks of men and women doing their part in the reconstruction of MSU's Secular Community.

27 Sept 2010:
This semester is starting to build steam. Attendance of the Free Thought Forums is constantly building.
We haven't gotten any events outside of the FTFs going yet. At this Point it looks pretty
unlikely that we will bring a speaker to campus this semester. Our big event,
Ask An Atheist, is going to be in February. So if you would like to join us
on the panel let Ryan 'Earthbender' Mulrooney know.
Lastly we need to increase our advertising.
October 4th is the next RSO fair and i'd be happy to have another person or two to
help field questions. Also if you've got poster ideas, we will be putting those up in the coming weeks.
Side Note, Check out the Links Tab, I put some time into that. And Join the Facebook group, to get invites to Events
22 Aug 10:
This school year will be a big change for CAA. The leadership has changed and with it, the groups aim and dynamics have changed. Ryan and I have committed to leaving the two hour weekly chat behind. We want this club to be the starting point for building friendships.
During this coming week Ryan and I will try to Iron out the administrative stuff.
That being Room Scheduling, correcting our email list, and such. This is our first
Rodeo,so your patience and understanding would be greatly appreciated.
As always and perhaps more than ever Your ideas and feed back
are necessary to make this group useful and fun for everyone.
